We'll be taking down our mail file server on December, Friday the 21st at 5pm to upgrade the OS. Since we have to upgrade to an intermediary version to get to the latest, we're reserving 2 hours, but hope it'll go much more quickly.
All services other than networking, DNS, and NIS/AD (i.e. authentication) should be considered down during this time. |

Several buildings on upper campus lost power this morning for an extended period of time, long enough to exceed the capacity of our UPS units. As it stands right now, power has been restored and we've brought up most of our services and outside of a few minor things we're still working on, life seems back to normal.
- Note that this happened around 11am on Sat Nov 3rd, just late getting it posted. |
