The University only issues certs for a max of two years and it was about two years ago that we last updated our certs.
So if your browser asks you to reverify your certs do not be alarmed and do such. (Feel free to look at the cert info to make sure it is valid.)
If you browser supports adding certs and you've already added the U's root cert, you shouldn't notice any change. More info on the U's root cert can be found in this FAQ. |

According to Microsoft, the MSDNAA site is back online. We have re-enabled the download feature for all packages.
Dear MSDNAA customer,
We are pleased to announce that your site is now live and all server issues have been fully resolved.
Your site is now active and you will be able to administer your ELMS site as usual without encountering any further downloading issues.
We apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused you and we thank you again for all your patience in this matter,

Microsoft is having serious problems with their MSDNAA download site. There is no estimated time of recovery. For the time being, only the following packages are available, per this message from Microsoft: Due to downloading issues, ONLY the following 10 products are currently available for download to students/faculty members under Hosted ELMS.
Access 2007
Project Professional 2007
Visio Professional 2007
Visual Studio 2008 Professional Edition (x86 and x64 WoW) - DVD
Windows Server 2008 Enterprise and Standard - DVD
Windows Server 2008 Enterprise and Standard 64bit - DVD
Windows Vista Business DVD with SP1
Windows Vista Business 64bit DVD with SP1
Windows XP Professional with SP3 (Single User) ISO Image
Windows XP Professional (Single User) 64bit Edition
Please DO NOT enable any other titles at this time as it will result in an error (SDC00400) for your student and faculty members during the downloading process.
We are working on making the rest of the titles available and will notify you once they are fully available. We apologize for any inconveniences. |
